The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in employee benefits law and excellent writing, communication, and legal analysis skills. Duties:Research and analyze legal issues related to employee benefits law.Draft legal memoranda, opinions, and other written documents.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding employee benefits matters.Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefit plans.Review plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and other plan materials.Represent clients in administrative proceedings before regulatory agencies.Assist in compliance efforts with relevant laws and regulations.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client matters.Stay updated on developments and trends in employee benefits law. Requirements:2-5 years of legal experience in employee benefits law.Strong interest in employee benefits law.Excellent writing, communication, and legal analysis skills. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Kansas State Bar or ability to become admitted promptly. Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting legal documents.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the field of employee benefits law.
