Volt takes great care of our great hiresVolt Workfroce Solutions is hiring an experienced Quality Assurance AssociateThis person would need to have experience with pre operational inspection technique.Schedule is Monday to Friday, 4:00 am to 12:30 pm$20/hour As a Quality Assurance Assoicate you: Implementing GMP's and SSOP's, ensuring compliance and adherence to the program and proper procedure by completing various in-plant tasks throughout the production day.Performing, recording and documenting line checks that directly influence product quality and safety.Tasked with common Quality Assurance responsibilities prudent to a food manufacturing facilityGain familiarity with the program and procedure regarding production of a wholesome and safe product.Perform in process quality checks such as net weight, metal detector, gas content in order to ensure product complies with specs and is in compliance with company procedures.Examine and verify packaging and slicing checklists and other quality checks for correctness and completeness during live processing.Detect, document, and communicate defects with regard to quality checks on production lines.Complete scheduled checks at specified frequencies or provide justification for missed, canceled and/or void checks.Verify BOM (bill of materials) information matches scheduled product runs and characteristics.Manually log and verify product information on paper documents as well as electronic platforms.Utilize Redzone for data input and line-check retention/documentation.Maintain inspection and testing procedures to ensure compliance with USDA requirements.Identify nonconforming finished products, segregate, and ensure proper communications and procedures are conducted to prevent shipment of such materials.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), along with company pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).Interact with USDA in-plant inspectors and promptly address all testing and monitoring issues as they arise.Following set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times.Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessaryThis is a full time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Ability to work with othersMultitask while being detail orientedAble to work in a fast paced environmentFollow written and verbal instructionsWork with minimul supervision while remaining productiveExcellent attendanceMust be able to work flexible hours to include overtime and weekendsPay rate $20.00/hr*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
