Job Details Job Location Asheville Facility - Asheville, NC Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Job Category Manufacturing Description Summary Statement: Under the general supervision of the Sr. Sewing Supervisor, the person in this position is responsible for pressing seams following all established work, quality and safety procedures. Essential Job Functions Press the ends of the seam seal tapes to assure a proper seal. Notify supervisor of any problems or concerns regarding product or procedures. Marginal Job Functions Assist other department personnel as time and knowledge permit. Participate in training and meetings as requested. Perform other duties as apparent or as assigned Qualifications Working Conditions Must be able to visually perform product inspections. Must have good hand/eye coordination. Must be able to work both planned and unplanned overtime. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees. Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work, quality and safety procedures. Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated. Must perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workloads.
